QRAM was invited to give a Quality Restroom Talk by the honorable Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor, Datuk James Chan Khay Syn on 6th October 2016 in their MBKS auditorium. The presentation was conducted by Qram Melaka secretary, AC Lim from 2.00 pm – 4.15 pm and officiated by the mayor himself, Datuk James Chan. The target group of about 100 people were mainly from municipal council members, coffee shops and restaurant owners.

Datuk James Chan stressed in his keynote address that, clean restrooms are important to uphold the good and clean image of Kuching City and it’s the responsibility of everyone, not just the city council to ensure that the above is strictly observed and carried out religiously. He mentioned that they have specially flew the speaker from Qram, AC Lim to Kuching to share their vast experience on clean restroom with them. In addition, he also pointed out that MBKS would be hosting the 15th World Toilet Summit and Expo to be held at the Kuching Imperial Hotel from 27-29 October 2016. Consequently, he openly and full heartedly invited all the audience present to attend the historical event.
Speaker AC Lim began the slide presentation by touching briefly on the historical background of Qram from it’s formation in 2005 to the recent courtesy visit of Mayor Datuk James Chan and his MBKS team to Qram KL on 16th August 2016. He then spoke on the aspects and requirements of a Quality Restroom, Personal Hygiene Awareness and Proper Standard Procedures for Cleaning Restroom, followed by video clips on Qram movie and toilet cleaning song.

A token of appreciation was given by the Mayor, Datuk James Chan to QRAM speaker, AC Lim for freeing his time and effort in sharing the informative presentation with them.
